The owners purchased a modest rambler on a spacious lot in Broadview. The original layout featured small rooms with limited natural light, and the cramped kitchen was a particular challenge, especially since the owners are passionate cooks. While we retained the home's existing footprint, we reimagined the space to make it far more efficient, giving the feeling of significantly increased square footage. A striking butterfly roof conceals a large solar array and enables oversized windows and doors, flooding the interior with natural light while strengthening the connection to the outdoors.
