Local entrepreneurs, franchising a barre Pilates studio, needed direction for their five tenant improvements. Starting with their first studio in Bellevue, Dyna created a space that met the corporate standards while maintaining the clients budget. Each studio presented challenges incorporating existing structure into new studio spaces while recognizing multiple City’s code requirements. Substantial sound attenuation measures were needed in multi-use buildings where residents shared adjoining walls. In Seattle, high ceilings and a brick wall were incorporated to maintain historic design elements. In Issaquah, barres were installed on a structural concrete wall adding a modern touch to the room. Custom designed and fabricated fir cabinetry graces the common spaces and reception areas. While each space is recognizably part of the same business each location has individual features to make them appropriately unique.
